Erin Cooper, PhD
Owner, Clinical Director, Psychologist

Dr. Erin Cooper is a Clinical Psychologist who specializes in the evaluation and evidence-based treatment of mood disorders, anxiety and stress, trauma, interpersonal and romantic relationships (e.g., communication, parenting, conflict, and infidelity), women’s health (e.g., pregnancy, postpartum, menopause), disordered eating and body image, health-related behavioral changes (e.g., adjustment to chronic illness, making lifestyle changes to improve medical conditions or overall wellbeing), sexual health and behavior, and difficulties associated with LGBTQ+ identification. Dr. Cooper also has lived experience as and interest in the trauma and stress of disability/complex medical needs parenting. Dr. Cooper utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Integrated Behavioral Couples Therapy (IBCT) informed treatment strategies to support patients in reaching their goals.

Dr. Cooper obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Kenyon College and earned both her Master’s degree and Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology from Temple University. Dr. Cooper is a credentialed National Health Service Psychologist and has been a Clinical Instructor for Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

Dr. Cooper’s work has been featured in the Archives of Sexual Behavior, Journal of Sexual Medicine, Journal of Sex Research, Sexual Addiction and Compulsivity, Psychiatric Times, Time Magazine, New York Magazine, USA Today, Elle Magazine, Huffington Post, Women’s Health Magazine, Men’s Health Magazine, and others. In 2017, she was named Outstanding Early Career Psychologist by the Cleveland Psychological Association.

When she’s not working, Dr. Cooper is spending time with family, advocating for Rare Disease, and fundraising for Prader Willi Syndrome research. She also enjoys taking pictures and hiking.

Mackenzie Keriazes, PsyD

Dr. Mackenzie Keriazes is a Clinical Psychologist with expertise across the human lifespan. She treats depression, anxiety, mood disorders, adjustment to life transitions, bereavement, behavioral
issues, disordered eating, weight related concerns, personality disorders, stress management, workplace burnout, trauma, disease management, and more. Dr. Keriazes has experience working and consulting with multidisciplinary teams in settings ranging from primary and specialty care clinics, college counseling center, immigration and refugee center, elementary school, and rehabilitation hospital. Dr. Keriazes values evidence-based treatment and learns a great deal from those who share their stories with her. She views change through the collaboration of what she brings, what her patients bring, and what the research suggests (which are all ever-evolving!).

Dr. Keriazes obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio and earned both her Master’s degree and Doctorate (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky. She completed her predoctoral internship at Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign, Illinois and her postdoctoral fellowship at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Keriazes’s work has been featured in peer-reviewed journals such as Psychoneuroendocrinology, Brain and Cognition, Physiology and Behavior. She has co-authored chapters pertaining to promoting cultural competence and bridging the digital divide in classrooms. Dr. Keriazes was also a featured writer on a local children’s health magazine.

When not working, Dr. Keriazes enjoys spending time with loved ones adventuring in the great outdoors.
